The Cyber Defense Command of the Swedish Armed Forces is now seeking a Security Officer in Personnel Security with a focus on security clearance, who wants to participate and contribute to the development of the cyber defense's security protection. About the Position

Within the Cyber Defense Command, you will primarily handle security clearance cases. In addition to handling security clearances, you will also participate and support other areas within security protection.

In the role of security officer, you will have great independence in planning and executing your tasks. Your responsibilities will include planning the organization's security clearances, conducting preliminary investigations, security clearance interviews, and administering background checks.

As a personnel security officer, you will participate in the development and maintenance of the cyber defense's personnel security, as well as monitoring the field. You will be an expert in personnel security and should be able to support and educate managers and employees in the field. Your tasks will also include collaborating and supporting the Swedish Armed Forces' cyber defense in matters related to security protection.

As part of the security section, you will contribute to the development of the cyber defense's security protection, which includes the development and handling of methods, processes, and routines. To thrive with us, you need to have a high security awareness.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic education for the position, or equivalent work experience that we assess as equivalent.
• Experience in security-sensitive operations with high protection values.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in security protection.
• Experience in conducting security clearances.
• Excellent command of spoken and written Swedish.
• Driver's license (at least class B).

Desirable

• Completed security training in the Swedish Armed Forces at regional or central level with approved results.
• Completed the Swedish Armed Forces training in security clearance.
• Experience working in the Swedish Armed Forces.

Other

Employment type: permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not currently employed by the agency.
