Our Operations

Are you a nursing assistant interested in highly specialized surgical care? Do you want to work in a department with varied tasks and the opportunity to try more than just ward work? Then 70E is the workplace for you!

Ward 70E is a vascular and emergency surgical care unit with both emergency and planned care. We provide highly specialized vascular surgical care and perform surgeries on complicated aortic aneurysms. Emergency surgical patients come to the unit from the emergency department around the clock with mixed diagnoses and varying lengths of stay, which means that no day is like the other. On the ward, nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors work in teams with several other professional groups, all with the patient in focus.

Your Mission

As a nursing assistant, you will be responsible for the patient's basic care, pre- and post-operative care, wound dressings, catheter and drainage care, monitoring vital parameters, and mobilizing patients, among other tasks. The pace of work varies, and the work is diverse, which will give you a broad competence and good knowledge in surgical care. The ward has good routines and structure.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant – preferably with experience in hospital care. We are looking for both those who primarily want to work days, evenings, and weekends. The position is a rotational position, where night shifts will be included in the long term.

We value qualities such as curiosity, engagement, a willingness to learn new things, teamwork ability, a positive attitude, and flexibility.

Your Competence

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You always put the patient first and are responsible and motivated in your work. If you have experience with the Cosmic journal system, we consider it an asset.
