Are you studying to become a dentist and want to help develop the future of dental care? Are you interested in a summer job with a safe and experienced organization that values a good introduction? Then you are warmly welcome to apply for a summer job with us at Public Dental Service in Uppsala County.

We offer you, as a dental student, the opportunity to work with us for four consecutive weeks during the summer.

You should have completed at least seven semesters of the Dental Program. During your summer job, you will participate in various treatments and get a chance to see how the work and collaboration at the clinic function. The tasks vary depending on the needs of different clinics but are equivalent to those of an assisting dental nurse.

If you have completed semester nine, there is an opportunity to apply for and work with a temporary license, which allows you to perform examinations and simpler treatments under the supervision of an experienced dentist. The number of places for temporary licenses is limited.

If you have preferences regarding the time period and placement, we would like you to indicate this in your application.
