Our Operations
Ward 101 E belongs to the department of ear, nose, and throat diseases. We are located in building 101 and operate in new, beautiful facilities. The department consists of a day surgery section and a preoperative section, which provides opportunities for a developing and varied everyday life.
The preoperative section is responsible for preparing patients for surgeries and examinations. Patients come from several different surgical departments, such as surgery, ear, nose, and throat, plastic surgery, gynecology, and urology, which provides a great variety of tasks. The unit's patient flows consist of elective patients who will be operated on/treatment at the hospital's various operating departments, radiology, or outpatient clinics.
The day surgery section provides pre- and postoperative care for patients in ear, nose, and throat surgery, plastic surgery, jaw surgery, and dental care. The patients you meet are both children and adults of all ages. There is a wide variety of procedures, both in length and severity, and they are performed under both general anesthesia and local anesthesia.
The unit's patient flows consist of both acute and elective patients who will be operated on/treatment in day surgery.
