The Position

Your Responsibilities
As an IT project manager, you are responsible for the technical perspective within the project. You coordinate and plan IT efforts, ensuring technical feasibility. The role involves close collaboration with project managers and operations to translate needs into sustainable technical solutions. The role includes continuous contact with system suppliers and participation in the follow-up of the project's finances and agreements.
You are a natural part of the organization's development projects, participating in project reviews, process mapping, and procurements.
A crucial part of the role is to be the bridge between technology and operations to ensure that IT components meet the project's goals. Since the Department of Digitalization and IT owns the municipality's governance model for digitalization, you are also involved in the work to quality develop our working methods.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a good technical understanding and experience working as a project manager, IT manager, IT strategist, business developer, or a similar coordinating role.
You have an academic background in IT or equivalent education and professional experience deemed comparable. You may also have a background in behavioral science or similar with a strong interest in the issues we address. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of leading projects and understanding the human factors behind processes. You have solid knowledge of project governance or another corresponding work model, as well as follow-up and development methodology. Experience in contract management, goal management, change management, or supplier management is seen as a positive.
One of your strengths is your ability to collaborate and your sense of good service, where you are outgoing and attentive. You are engaging and feel confident in a leadership role where you lead, delegate, and follow up on planned activities. You are curious and take the time to understand others' perspectives to create a broad understanding.
Additionally, you are quality-conscious and solution-focused, with a good ability to take a holistic view of your work to see which parts need development and how they should be prioritized. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to keep processes together and independently drive them forward to completion.
