We are now strengthening our department Omexom OHL in Sundsvall with several traveling Power Installers and Leading Installers. You will work from home and travel to projects in central and northern Sweden. Omexom OHL is an expert organization in line contracting with projects in both new construction and renovation. With us, you will be involved in the development of Sweden's digital transition and help build and upgrade Sweden's power grid.

ABOUT THE ROLES You will contribute to the unit's goals, and with your work approach, you will contribute to the profitability of the projects. Furthermore, you will perform installations based on received instructions and manufacturing documentation, ensuring that the work is carried out in such a way that technical, quality, environmental, safety, and security requirements are met. Since the work often takes place in complex environments, we place great importance on having a strong safety mindset and following applicable routines and regulations.

As a Power Installer:

• Perform installations within line contracting, which involves climbing and working at heights.
• Participate with a leading installer or designer in inspections and testing of completed work.
• Build or maintain the power lines considering legal requirements, safety regulations, and the customer's technical specifications.
• Conduct risk assessments before each new work task and manage any risks correctly and safely, considering safety regulations and analyzed risks.
• Handle tools, machines, and personal protective equipment correctly and safely.

As a Leading Installer: If assigned the role of Leading Installer, you will also act as the project manager's extended arm in the field. You will plan the work on-site, order materials, and liaise with subcontractors. Where applicable, you will be the contact person for BAS-U and ensure that the work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Both roles report to the unit's group manager, and you will be based in Sundsvall. You will work from home and be in the field 4 days a week. Travel mainly occurs in central and northern Sweden. Furthermore, this is a permanent position with immediate start.

YOUR PROFILE You have several years of experience working as a Power Installer within line contracting or at power stations where the high voltage area has been up to 400 kV. Furthermore, you have a high school diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent. You are fluent in Swedish, have good competence in English, and hold a B driver's license.
