About the Organization
Vällingklockan is a relatively newly built preschool located in the multicultural area of Kronogården, within walking and cycling distance to Innovatum, libraries, playgrounds, and green spaces.
The building has a lot of natural light, and preschool teachers and childcare workers have had significant participation and influence that contributed to its design.
Vällingklockan is a preschool with 8 departments that offers education for children aged 1–5 years, as well as an OB service that provides pedagogical care for children aged 1–13 years. The OB service is available for all guardians in Trollhättan who need care during the hours of 19:00 to 05:00. There is close collaboration between the staff in the day departments and those who work irregular hours during the night at Nattviolen. School children go to school in the morning while some children stay behind to transition to preschool during the day.
According to the Swedish National Agency for Education's general advice for pedagogical care, the preschool's curriculum should guide all pedagogical care. The following aspects are particularly emphasized:
- In collaboration with homes, promote children's diverse personal development into active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals and citizens.
- Provide children with stimulation and support for development and learning, ensuring that their language development in Swedish is challenged and stimulated.
- Prepare children for continued learning and education within the school system.
In our area, there is a Child Health Team that serves as support and a resource for the organization. The Child Health Team consists of special educators and counselors. They work at the individual, group, and organizational levels, and their work is characterized by a preventive and promoting focus.
The goal for the education administration's activities is to create equal conditions for our children and offer a high-quality service. To create the conditions for this, professional development is an important part. Currently, the staff at Nattviolen is participating in training on trauma-informed approaches.
We work based on the education administration's holistic idea and are looking for you who are passionate about your mission, are courageous and action-oriented, are experienced in leading groups, both children and colleagues, and have the drive and commitment to develop our organization to realize the holistic idea!
“Everyone has unique conditions and abilities. Everyone should have the same right to grow and develop, regardless of who they are or where they come from. This places demands on us as employees, as leaders, and as an organization. Our task is to give all children a future to look forward to, where dreams come true!”

Each child should be given the opportunity to learn and develop in a safe social interaction with others according to their own conditions and needs. This is reflected in the approach, planning, and execution.
You will lead and drive the development work in practice and also have the role of process facilitator in forums for collegial learning. You will work closely with the principal, child health professionals, and key individuals in the preschool departments along with colleagues with similar roles.
