In Alby lies Northern Europe's largest circus hall, and this spring it will become even bigger. The training halls in Cirkörhuset have around 10 meters of ceiling height, trampolines, rigging points in both the floor and ceiling, tumbling floors, two foam pits, and most of what is needed for various circus disciplines.

This spring, we are launching a new operational branch, Cirkör Hotspot, which will be a platform for young adults to train and create together. The operation will move into new premises next to our existing circus halls, where new order and routines will be necessary. The role also includes supporting the operation in manufacturing.

About the position

Your main task is to be responsible for safety, order, technical support, and internal communication in Cirkus Cirkör's premises, with a particular focus on daily operations and support for the Circus High School, Dance High School, and our other educational activities.

You will equip our new premises according to the needs of the operation. You will maintain and develop order in the hall and perform PPE inspections. You will work on practical solutions both in the workshop and throughout the building.

The operations manager for the House/technical manager is your immediate supervisor.

Your main responsibilities

  • Safety work and development of routines, such as PPE inspections, daily inspections of the hall and its equipment, and conducting safety briefings.
  • You are responsible for reporting faults and following up via the property's ToDo list.
  • You are responsible for contact with cleaning companies, security companies, and alarm providers.
  • You are responsible for purchasing materials for the hall as well as consumables and cleaning products for the House.

Requirements

  • You have basic competence in circus rigging and good knowledge of various circus disciplines.
  • You work systematically and have a good sense of order.
  • You are skilled in craftsmanship.
  • Experience in risk assessments and safety work.
  • You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English.
  • Driver's license B

About the position

The position is a fixed-term employment for 2 years at 50%, with the possibility of extension.

We work with trust-based working hours. Work on weekends and evenings may occur. Your main workplace is Cirkörhuset in Alby.

We follow the Employers' Alliance's industry agreement for Experience and Culture.
