Web Editor at Riksteatern
Riksteatern's national operations are now looking for a web editor with experience in channel conversion and a knack for creating engaging content.

What does the position entail?
As a web editor at Riksteatern, you will be responsible for the content on riksteatern.se and scenkonstportalen.se – where performing arts actors, producers, and organizers meet around theatre events across the country. This includes overall responsibility for content, navigation, and UX on Riksteatern's external websites. You will be responsible for the channel and target audience strategy for the websites in close collaboration with the department's strategists, management, and channel specialists, you will write and produce content, and ensure measurement, analysis, and insight work related to both your own channels and analysis of visits between channels.
Your tasks will include:
- developing, quality-assuring, and publishing content so that users encounter material that is accessible, easy to understand, relevant, engaging, and that increases sales and audience for Riksteatern's productions,
- continuously optimizing content based on data, analysis, and UX insights,
- working with content development and content structure, and
- ensuring good synergies between different channels and that different target groups can easily navigate the sites based on the information they seek.
You will be responsible for the editorial plans and annual cycles for the websites, and work closely with the communication strategist and other channels to ensure channel synergies in communication.
In this role, you are expected to have good experience in SEO-optimizing website content, and together with technical system managers, you will ensure that the websites evolve with the times and user needs.
You will be part of the Communications Unit in the Marketing and Communication department. You will be part of a team that works cross-functionally on various projects and collaborates closely on communication outputs with other channel-responsible colleagues and with the department's In-house agency that produces marketing and communication materials.
As a web editor, you will have the opportunity to take significant responsibility and ensure that the content on the websites maintains high quality in terms of usability and accessibility.
What is required for the position?
- A university degree in communication and marketing or equivalent, or experience acquired in another way.
- You should have at least five years of experience working as a web editor or in a comparable role with editorial content responsibility, and have documented experience in content production for digital platforms over the past five years.
- Documented experience in creative and converting writing for the web, with good results, over the past five years.
- Ability to identify improvement projects, be skilled in planning and organizing projects, and have strong collaboration skills.
- Good knowledge of the publishing tool Optimizely (Episerver).
- Good knowledge of measurement, analysis, and follow-up via Google Analytics.
- Documented experience in working with SEO optimization with good results.
- Knowledge of UX design and website accessibility.
- Basic knowledge of image management and editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop.

About the employment
The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period located in Hallunda, just outside Stockholm. Travel is included in the position, and some evening and weekend work may occur. There is an opportunity for some remote work by agreement with the immediate supervisor. The start date is as soon as possible.
