About the assignment

We are looking for an experienced graphic designer for a municipal project in Värmdö municipality. The assignment involves communication regarding the introduction of property-close packaging collection.

You will support the communications unit in producing visual materials for residents, property owners, and businesses. The work will be both digital and printed, following the municipality's graphic profile and the project's visual concept “Hela Värmdö närsorterar”.

Tasks

• Develop and adapt graphic materials according to the municipality's graphic profile
• Produce materials for print and digital publication
• Create content for social media (images and simpler motion materials)
• Develop campaign materials related to environment, waste, and behavior change
• Ensure accessibility compliance
• Deliver print-ready originals and digital files
• Collaborate closely with the communicator and participate in meetings

Qualifications (requirements)

• At least 5 years of documented experience as a graphic designer / art director
• Experience working with municipal or public graphic profiles
• Experience in graphic production for the public sector
• Experience in communication related to environment, sustainability, waste, or behavior change
• Very good experience with materials for social media
• Experience in both print and digital publication
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner

Meritorious

• Previous work in a municipality or region
• Experience with accessibility requirements (WCAG or similar)
