Swedavia is looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist focusing on XDR (Extended Detection and Response)
Swedavia is now seeking an engaged and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Specialist for our Cybersecurity unit who wants to help strengthen our protection against cyber threats in one of Sweden's most complex IT environments.
Airports have a complex IT environment, with systems and solutions ranging from IoT/OT to Cloud, which are necessary for operating airport activities (Airport Operator). In addition to traditional Office IT, there are also energy and baggage systems as well as autonomous vehicles.
To keep Swedavia and our travelers safe, we need to actively work to prevent and identify threats to our operations and IT. Your expertise will be crucial in strengthening Swedavia's ability to protect itself against cyber threats and ensuring safe and reliable operations at our airports.
What does the role entail? As a Cybersecurity Specialist focusing on XDR (Extended Detection and Response), your main focus will be to ensure high-quality delivery of XDR services. You will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and further developing our detection and response solutions.
In this role, you will also be responsible for:
• Leading the development and implementation of a robust XDR strategy to maximize the effectiveness of identifying threats, attacks, and deviations in line with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to ensure that XDR services are delivered in accordance with Swedavia's requirements, security policies, and standards.
• Working operationally with security incidents when necessary and providing support during complex incidents.
• Supporting risk analysis processes by quantifying and describing the security risks arising from misconfigurations or insufficient coverage in the XDR services.
• Reporting on compliance and progress within the XDR services.
Who are you? You are analytical, structured, and have the ability to see both the big picture while not overlooking the details. You thrive in a role where you can take responsibility, drive initiatives, and collaborate with others. We see that you have;
experience and good knowledge in cyber/IT security
experience from security work based on methods, frameworks, and legislation (e.g., ISO 27000 series, GDPR, NIS Directive, and Security Protection Act).
experience from security work based on business requirements such as risk analysis, information classification, and incident management.
a good ability to reason about technical cybersecurity from a holistic perspective.
It is an advantage if you have a university degree in computer engineering or information technology, as well as IT security-related technical certifications from ISACA, SANS, OSSTMM.
You have a good ability to communicate in Swedish and English in both speech and writing. You may have experience in conducting training and lectures. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is proactive, self-driven, and accustomed to taking responsibility. What do we offer you? You will be part of an engaged team where collaboration, innovation, and a balance between work and private life are important values. We care about your work environment, which is why you will work in a team with partially overlapping responsibilities.
