We collaborate cross-functionally in everything we do, and most employees work in T-shaped roles, meaning they have deep expertise in one or more areas and are skilled in their craft. We are currently looking for full-stack developers in Java and .NET.

Job Description

You will be part of an agile software development team responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of its product. Naturally, troubleshooting to resolve sometimes complicated problems/errors is also included. The team works closely together in daily tasks and ensures to help each other succeed. As a developer with us, your primary task is to participate in and develop new high-quality solutions that create value for our users, while also ensuring stable operations so that they can deliver maximum impact on the labor market.

Your role includes inspiring and assisting your colleagues in the team, transferring knowledge based on technical design, implementation, and best practices, as well as tools within agile development for cultural and quality improvement. The team includes both junior and senior colleagues, so collaboration skills are very important.

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may begin with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. Location at the Swedish Public Employment Service's headquarters with activity-based premises in Solna Strand.

Basic Requirements for the Position

  • University education with an IT focus equivalent to a systems developer or engineering degree, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of current experience with Javascript/Typescript, Scss/Css, Java and/or .NET
  • At least 3 years of current experience with Angular
  • At least 5 years of current experience working with container technology (Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift)
  • At least 5 years of current experience with SQL, Oracle DB, Spring Boot, Bootstrap
  • Current experience of having worked with and developed REST APIs
  • Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English (non-Swedish speakers will not be considered)

Other Merits for the Position

  • Current experience working with microservices architecture
  • Current experience of having worked in testing frameworks
  • Current experience of having worked with Elasticsearch
  • Current experience with ActiveMQ or similar message queues
  • Current experience of having worked with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, e.g., ArgoCD, Tekton, GitOps or equivalent
  • Current experience of having worked with Design systems and accessibility in the public sector
  • Current experience in support and identifying and solving technical problems reported by users
  • Current experience in technical design and data modeling

In addition to these qualifications, you have personal ability and inclination to work in accordance with the Swedish Public Employment Service's employee principles.
