We are looking for someone who wants to help design and implement robust security solutions for some of the largest organizations. As a Security Architect, you will play a key role in digitalization projects where security is not something added later – but built in from the start.

In the role of Security Architect, you will work on designing and implementing security solutions in complex IT environments, both in the public and private sectors.

About the role:

As a Security Architect, you have a central role in designing and implementing security solutions in modern and complex IT environments. You will work closely with clients, technical teams, and decision-makers to ensure that security is an integral part of the organization's digital development.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Designing security architecture that supports the organization's needs and risk profile, focusing on modern principles such as Zero Trust and micro-segmentation.
• Specifying and implementing solutions within technologies such as:
• Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) for secure internet and application access
• Fortinet (FortiGate/FortiManager) for firewalls, segmentation, and threat protection
• VMware NSX for micro-segmentation and virtualized network security
• Microsoft Defender or SentinelOne for advanced endpoint protection and threat detection
• Security in cloud environments (Azure & AWS) using built-in security services like Microsoft Defender for Cloud and AWS Security Hub
• Advising on technology choices and security measures in hybrid infrastructures, based on the client's maturity, risk profile, and business needs.
• Working closely with operations, development, and management to ensure correct implementation, governance, and ownership of security solutions.
• Conducting risk assessments and working with regulatory compliance (e.g., NIS2, ISO 27001, and GDPR).
• Contributing to the development of a security culture and best practices in projects and teams and being an active part of Sopra Steria's security community.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 5 years of experience in IT architecture and security design
• Practical experience with networks, infrastructure, and security solutions
• Experience with Zero Trust, micro-segmentation, and platform security
• Competence in cloud technology (Azure & AWS) and associated security functions
• Good communication skills – you can anchor security both technically and strategically
• Relevant education and preferably certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, CCIE Security, or equivalent
