Solna Municipality is one of Sweden's most expansive and dynamic municipalities where digitization and IT security are crucial for the development of operations. IT permeates all parts of the city from schools and care to property, traffic, and community services, as well as the demands for robust, secure, and future-proof solutions that are constantly increasing.

You will be part of our IT unit with about 25 dedicated employees. We are located centrally in Solna city center when we are not working closely with the operations. Together with our outsourcing partners, we have built a flexible and stable IT foundation that you, in the role of IT Security Responsible Architect, will further develop to meet future demands for security, availability, and compliance.

What Does the Job Entail?

As an IT Security Responsible Architect, you have an overall responsibility for ensuring that the city's IT support meets current security requirements. You work both strategically and operationally to ensure that security is an integral part of the IT landscape – from existing solutions to new digital services. The role encompasses everything from establishing new platforms to modernizing the city's digital services, with a focus on information and cyber security.

You will be part of an engaged team and have a central role in designing and implementing future IT support in an organization with a high pace of digitization. You collaborate with various professions and participate in decision-making processes to ensure that IT realizations follow architecture and security principles.

Examples of Tasks:

• Design and review IT security requirements for systems and integrations
• Establish and maintain competence in IT security and cyber risks
• Work proactively with security-enhancing activities
• Collaborate with IT suppliers and participate in projects for secure design and implementation
• Monitor the environment and disseminate knowledge in the field

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university degree in computer science/information systems or similar, or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent
• previously worked in areas described in the ad
• experience working in complex organizations
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

• certifications or documented competence in tools and systems relevant to the field of IT security, such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft SC-100
• experience from a similar role
• knowledge of attack vectors, threat modeling, detection methods, and implementation of regulatory and organizational requirements
• knowledge of ISO27002, NIST800:53, GDPR, NIS/NIS2, Open Security Architecture, or CIS Controls
• experience working with Microsoft's security products.
