JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Senior Social Worker for Children and Youth 3 in Social Administration Nordost.

The Children and Youth Nordost department consists of two reception units and eight investigation units. In Nordost, we work with authority exercise according to BBiC, based on the Signs of Safety approach and according to SKR's improved documentation and applicable legislation. We conduct risk and safety assessments as well as uniform and legally secure assessments, and we are prepared to act swiftly in acute situations. As a Senior Social Worker, you will lead social workers based on applicable legislation and be responsible for the distribution of reports/applications, along with the unit manager, ensuring legal security in the work. In your role, you will serve as an accessible and close support, lead, coach, and provide methodological guidance in daily work. You will represent social services in individual committees, social boards, and legal processes. You will be responsible for method development and keep yourself updated in the field through current research.

Children and Youth 3 consists of a unit manager, two senior social workers, and 12 social workers. As a Senior Social Worker with us, you will support a group of six social workers. It is an exciting and stimulating operation where we collaborate and have a good working climate. We have a FAS system that allows us to structure and plan work satisfactorily.

Based on the assignment, you will collaborate with other actors, both internally and externally. You will be part of the internal network of senior staff in Children and Youth Nordost, which enables good collegial support, as well as the strength to drive the development work of children and youth, and also participate in Gothenburg City's joint network of senior staff within the Children and Youth authority.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker. You have several years of experience in the Children and Youth authority. You need to have experience in a leadership position.

In your professional role, you show respect and consideration for those you meet. You have an open and positive attitude as you have the clients' needs as the starting point for your actions. You are flexible yet structured, and you thrive in situations where you occasionally have multiple tasks at hand, making you resilient to stress. Furthermore, you have a good ability to explain problems and information to different recipients and from various perspectives. You are well-versed in the area's legislation regarding interventions under the Social Services Act (SoL) and current coercive legislation (LVU). We also consider it an advantage if you have knowledge of the documentation system Treserva and experience working according to BBiC.

You distinguish between issues and individuals and can make well-founded decisions under time pressure. We place great importance on personal suitability.

A driver's license is considered an advantage for the position.
