Welcome to develop with us

Are you ready for the next step in your career? There is now an opportunity to apply for the role of team leader for the special functions group, which includes intensive investigations, safety planning, and SIP coordination.

Haninge municipality is at the forefront. In 2023, we were one of the first municipalities to establish first and second-line social services, a step in our adaptation for the future social services and the new social services act. In our operations, we meet children who need coordinated and comprehensive interventions preceded by investigation. In our work, we focus on target groups, investigating and coordinating interventions based on evidence- and knowledge-based methods in collaboration with other societal actors.

The second line social services for children consists of four units: a children's unit, a youth unit, a unit for interventions and special functions, and a unit for foster care and contact activities. Each unit is led by a unit manager, and the groups are led by team leaders. We work family-oriented and team-based for the best interests of our children and youth.

We are looking for a team leader for the special assignments group. The group includes an intensive investigation group, a team working with safety planning according to Signs of Safety, and a SIP coordinator. We work with the entire age span of 0-17 years and their families. The work is supported by BBIC, IRISK, and Signs of Safety, as well as other methods based on the needs we encounter.

The intensive investigation group consists of social workers and family therapists who together investigate children's situations, needs for support and protection, and assess receptiveness to change work. Social workers and family therapists work on fewer cases during an intensified investigation period. It is the team leader who distributes cases to the intensive investigation group.

Safety planning is provided within the framework of interventions after needs assessment. The safety planners are trained in the advanced working method for safety planning and work in parallel with the responsible social worker. Safety planning can be granted within the entire second line for children.

The SIP coordinator takes assignments from the entire area and supports social workers by planning, calling, and conducting SIP meetings, as well as documenting.

In the second line for children, we have two specialist social workers who are responsible for the introduction of new employees and method development. Additionally, we have two administrative assistants who support all three units.

We share responsibility for the whole, care for each other, and maintain a good atmosphere in the group. We want our work to be characterized by consensus, quality, and legal security; we believe it is important to develop in our work. All new employees receive a mentor for six months.
