Job Advertisement: Caregiver at Notavillan

Kommunsamverkan Cura Individutveckling is a municipal association whose members are the municipalities of Blekinge. Our mission is to offer services in the psychosocial and neuropsychiatric fields, where coordinated efforts provide significant advantages. We offer care, support, and treatment services for children, adolescents, and families. Within the autism spectrum disorder, we provide high school education with boarding, group housing, and daily activities.

Notavillan is a HVB (home for care and treatment) that receives children aged 0-18 with or without parents on behalf of the municipalities' social services. We can accommodate emergency placements around the clock as well as placements for treatment or investigation. Our investigation period is usually 10 weeks. Notavillan can offer both collective housing and individual apartments. We also provide assessments and treatment in outpatient care.

At Notavillan, 16 caregivers work, with two on constant night shifts. There is also a kitchen and meal manager, an operations manager, and an assistant operations manager present during weekdays. At other times, a manager is on call.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who treats others with respect and warmth. You want to help create a safe and well-functioning environment for vulnerable children and families. Those we meet are often in crisis and may have experienced trauma due to previous experiences, which places high demands on interaction and qualified care.

As a caregiver at Notavillan, you will participate in providing care, protection, and treatment to children and families. You will also be involved in the investigation process. At Notavillan, you will work with practical and concrete client work where you have conversations and engage in activities with the residents. The work also includes documentation such as implementation plans, journals, and monthly reports. All employees share a common responsibility for all tasks at the institution, such as cleaning and laundry.

QUALIFICATIONS

We require that you have at least a 2-year relevant post-secondary education in social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. You need to have experience in similar work with children. It is an advantage if you have experience with investigations from HVB.

The job responsibilities place high demands on your ability to establish contact and relationships and your ability to collaborate. We place great importance on personal suitability, such as empathetic ability, personal maturity, and good self-awareness.

You must have a B driving license (manual transmission) and a valid extract from the police's suspicion and criminal record register.
