Assistant Needed for Client in Eskilstuna

We are currently looking for an assistant for our client, a young woman in her 20s living in her own apartment in Eskilstuna. We are seeking a female candidate with a driver's license who wants to work on a schedule of 30–50%. We prefer that you are flexible regarding working hours, which can be at any time of the day, including awake night shifts with on-call duties.

Our client has autism and communicates through body language, her own words, and pictures. On weekdays, she attends a daily activity program, so work shifts are scheduled for afternoons, evenings, and nights, but daytime shifts may also occur. She enjoys going out to swim or take walks – having a packed lunch makes it even more fun. To ensure our client feels safe, we are looking for a female assistant, as she feels most comfortable with that.

Role and Experience of the Assistant

We are looking for a calm, attentive, flexible, and meticulous person who is used to working closely with their client. You should be able to guide and motivate her when needed, while also understanding when it is appropriate to take a step back. We work in a low-arousal manner, which means you need to be calm and empathetic in your approach. Experience with autism and visual support is an advantage, but the most important thing is that the chemistry between you both is right. You will receive training and introduction to all aspects of the client's needs and routines. It is essential that you speak fluent Swedish so you can understand each other.

Desirable Experience

Working Hours/Employment Rate

• Part-time 30–50%.
• Immediate start.
