Stenungsund municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 28,030 inhabitants, a strong business community, living environments close to the sea, and good communication opportunities. The municipality has a well-developed cultural and association life as well as good conditions for outdoor activities and recreation. The municipality's vision is to reach 35,000 inhabitants by 2035. Stenungsund municipality is part of the Gothenburg Region's municipal association, which is a forum for cooperation and exchange of experiences, as well as several other inter-municipal collaborations.

The municipality is organized into an administration with four sectors. The Social Services Sector includes four operations: special housing/municipal health and medical care, individual and family care, ordinary housing/personal assistance, and disabilities.

Municipal primary care consists of five units: Nurses in Ordinary Housing, Nurses in Special Housing/Short-term, Nurses in Disabilities, Night Nurses, and Rehab. Currently, there are approximately 45 nurses employed in the municipality, and Ordinary Housing is now seeking two new employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

To meet the needs of the operation and to maintain high-quality care with good competence, we now need one to two nurses for our team. The main assignment is directed towards Ordinary Housing. You will always start from the nurses' shared premises before going out on home visits.

As a nurse in municipal primary care, you have a primary responsibility within Ordinary Housing where you care for the patient in their own home. Working hours are scheduled and performed both during the day, evening, and weekend. Most shifts are scheduled during the day, and you work one weekend out of six. In the evening and on weekends, you work across several areas: ordinary housing, special housing short-term unit, or LSS/psychiatry, which provides a flexible and challenging workplace.

The work is based on a patient perspective where each patient's individual needs are considered, and with a rehabilitative approach based on the individual's conditions. Close collaboration with other professional categories such as rehab/ habilitation staff and nursing assistants constitutes a large part of the work.

It is a flexible and varied job where you meet patients with different care needs and support measures. You are challenged with creative and fun tasks where you put the individual at the center and consider each person's needs and conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in municipal primary care in ordinary housing is an advantage.

We see that you have a positive attitude towards development work and competence development. You have the ability to be flexible and independent in planning and executing your interventions.

As a person, you are service-oriented and attentive and share your expertise. You find it easy to collaborate and find solutions to the challenges that arise.

You are motivated by varied work and by creating a team spirit with your colleagues where you work towards common goals and complement each other.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

A B driver's license is required, as well as a police record check.
