The Care and Welfare Administration, with its approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in Mölndal municipality and encompasses elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a summer substitute within the Care and Welfare Administration. You will have the opportunity for exciting work with variation in one of our units. As a substitute this summer, you will have the chance to work on a fixed schedule during the holiday period of about 60-100%. Working hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM.

Within the administration, we actively work for everyone's work environment and create conditions for you to feel joy and satisfaction in your work every day. If you become one of us, we also offer you a calm and secure introduction.

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a summer substitute in the night patrol. Work within the night patrol means that you provide support, care, and assistance in the individual's home at night. The services you perform are planned in an individual plan, which means that the user's needs are at the center and guide your work. Our goal is to create the best and most independent everyday life possible for our users.

Common tasks include supervision, assistance during toilet visits, and medication management after delegation from a nurse. The work is characterized by responsibility, exciting encounters, and interaction with other people. It is the needs of the individuals we support that guide your work.

The work involves you, together with other staff, providing support, service, care, and assistance. The work requires a good attitude, ability to cooperate, sense of responsibility, and good communication skills.

Solo work occurs, which means you need to be able to work independently at night. Documentation is done in the operational system Treserva.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as a summer substitute in the night patrol with us, you need to:

• A valid criminal record check
• Be able to understand, speak, read, and write Swedish
• Basic computer skills
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have studied the Care and Welfare program or another education deemed equivalent. Experience from care and welfare work is also an advantage.

Personally, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation. You listen to other people in order to understand their needs and have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. Finally, you take responsibility for your own and shared tasks with the users' best interests in focus.
