Are you passionate about CAD, order, and structure? Do you want to be the crucial link that makes mechanical ideas actually get manufactured? We are now looking for a dedicated CAD draftsman who wants to be a cog in the design work.

At Malå Skogstjänst, we are experts in what we do. We are a close-knit team of 11 employees where the paths to decision-making are short. A lot is happening with us right now! In order to ramp up and achieve our goals in product development, you are the missing piece of the puzzle that will help us reach our full potential.

Your role

You and the designer will work closely together. The designer's role is to create concepts and mechanical solutions. Your role is to take over where he leaves off. When he has CAD'd a functioning prototype or a rough solution, you take the baton and refine and finalize it for manufacturing.

Your main tasks will be to:

• Complete and detail constructions in Fusion 360 and/or Autodesk Inventor.
• Clean up assemblies and ensure that the structure in the CAD environment is flawless.
• Produce complete manufacturing documentation (2D drawings, cutting files, parts lists).
• Create technical documentation and manuals.
• Ensure that the drawings comply with standards and are clear for production.

Who are you?

You are the person who feels inner satisfaction when a drawing is perfectly dimensioned and an assembly is logically structured. You understand that a good idea is worthless if it cannot be manufactured, and you take pride in delivering documentation that the workshop can rely on.

We believe you have a background as a mechanical engineer, mechanical designer, or equivalent vocational education. The title is not what matters, but your ability to handle CAD tools and your technical understanding.

Requirements for the position:

• Very good knowledge of Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD tools.
• Experience in creating drawing documentation for mechanical manufacturing.
• Good understanding of mechanics and manufacturing methods (you know how things are assembled and manufactured, even if you don't do it yourself).
• Swedish language skills in both speech and writing.
• Driving license B
