Mechanical Designer / Constructor

As we prepare for the Christmas and New Year period, we are gearing up for several exciting projects starting in 2026. Therefore, we are looking for a mechanical designer who wants to help develop technical solutions within industrial technology and process industry together with us at ALTEN in Skellefteå.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO HAVE:

• 🎓 Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• 💼 Good experience working in SOLIDWORKS
• 👨‍💻 At least 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design
• 🗣 Good knowledge of Swedish and English

IT'S A PLUS IF YOU HAVE:

• ⚡️ Experience with MICROSTATION
• ⚡️ Experience in PIPING/PIPE DESIGN
• ⚡️ Experience from process, mining, or heavy industry

In the role of mechanical designer, you will:

Be part of a team of mechanical designers and work on customer-specific projects. The work involves design and production of drawings for technical equipment within the mining and smelting industry.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND CHALLENGES:

• Work with design work and drawings in SOLIDWORKS
• Contribute to the development and adaptation of technical solutions
• Collaborate closely with other engineers in the project team
• Work with technical documentation related to the projects
