The Center for Information Technology and Medical Technology (CIMT) aims to work long-term and modernly with the right capabilities to deliver and realize the region's needs for development, system management, operational technology, and IT infrastructure. We have about 300 employees and are represented at the county's three hospitals - in Lycksele, Skellefteå, and Umeå. RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who finds joy in working with interesting technology that directly benefits healthcare. We are now looking for a business developer who can support our engineers/technicians and our department by preparing complex issues and driving questions that have the potential to improve and streamline our working methods.

In this position, you will work at the interface between management and employees within the department. You will be part of the medical technology equipment object, which is a coordinating function for overarching activities within the medical technology field. The technical conditions in society and within healthcare are developing rapidly, and here we see that you will hold the threads to evaluate and create foundations for future choices regarding new concepts and working methods within CIMT. We also see increased needs for environmental analysis and decision-making in the form of technical choices before procurement of new medical technology equipment, and here you will support engineers, technicians, and management with the groundwork to choose the best way forward. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with Region Västerbotten's security and infrastructure functions, as well as work with the organization's quality management system and investment process. To some extent, educational issues may also be included.

CIMT operates throughout the county, so travel in the job may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant academic background in engineering, business development, quality and leadership, business administration, systems science, or equivalent. Practical experience in medical technology, project management, process development, leading a service organization, and organizational change is advantageous.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, curious, and have a service-oriented attitude. You are clear in your communication and build trust with people internally within the organization, as well as with suppliers and other stakeholders. You are proactive, structured, meticulous, and self-driven in your work. You can communicate in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing.

You contribute to a good working climate and good relationships within the team. You enjoy providing service to the operations you support. The tasks vary, and together with colleagues from the entire department, you work to find solutions to various problems.
