ABOUT THE POSITION

Our partner is a leading player in measurement technology, with 16 different specialist groups and offices nationwide. They work broadly in areas such as hydrographic surveying, drone flying, project and construction measurement, scanning, quantity regulation, and MBK in collaboration with municipalities.

Their team in Umeå and Skellefteå consists of about 15 employees working on varied assignments, primarily in construction, project measurement, and municipal operations. In this role, you will have significant responsibility for leading and planning measurement assignments, focusing on construction measurement and project measurements. You will be a key player in the team and work on collecting geodetic data, often using advanced techniques such as drones and GPS. You will work closely with our clients to ensure high-quality results and contribute to the group's continued development. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

In the role of a measurement engineer, you will play a central role in our measurement assignments, from early planning to data collection and delivery using modern and advanced equipment. You will work on various projects in both construction and project measurement while building long-term customer relationships and sharing your expertise to strengthen and develop the team.

Lead measurement assignments, which means responsibility for planning, execution, and quality in measurement work
Customer and business development by coordinating project teams, building customer relationships, and eventually driving your own assignments
Development and collaboration - contribute to knowledge sharing, technology development, and a strong team climate
Varied projects where work mainly occurs in construction and project measurement.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Relevant education from university/college/YH or equivalent experience gained from the professional field in measurement and cartography, GIS, surveying, or other relevant education
Have at least 3 years of work experience in the relevant field
Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Have a valid B driver's license

It is advantageous if you have:

Connection/live in Skellefteå
Experience in construction work and understanding of drawings
Previous experience in project measurement and measurement coordination
