Are you the one who makes it possible to stay at home? We are now looking for two nursing assistants for the Alarm Unit in Majorna-Linné.

As a nursing assistant in the Alarm Unit, you will have a varied job where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life.

The Alarm Unit is a work group in home care whose mission is to respond to urgent alarms received via the Security Service. The tasks also include managing keys and registering individuals who will receive security alarms. The number of alarms can vary during a shift. Some of the most common alarms are when someone has fallen or needs support with mobility or hygiene. We also respond to alarms that may involve various medical conditions.

Your task includes motivating the care recipients you meet based on their individual circumstances, needs, and wishes. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on care work for those in need of support and assistance.

The tasks can vary and are tailored to the individual's needs. As a team member in the Alarm Unit, you will always work in pairs in a car that drives throughout Majorna-Linné. Working hours include days, evenings, and weekends. The positions are a permanent employment and a temporary position until June 2026.

About You

Requirements

• Trained nursing assistant and able to present a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare for protected professional title
• Work experience in home care
• Driver's license for manual transmission and good driving experience
• Since we communicate and document in Swedish, you need to have good Swedish skills in both spoken and written form

Meritorious

• Further education with a focus on dementia or elderly psychiatry

As a nursing assistant in the Alarm Unit, you show respect for everyone you meet at work. You are friendly and helpful even in a stressful situation. The needs of the care recipients are the starting point for your actions. Your communication is an important part of your work as you inform colleagues about important events, have conversations with care recipients, and need to document. You convey information and ideas clearly and ensure that your message is understood.

Work in the Alarm Unit consists largely of independent work and personal responsibility, but you also need to be able to collaborate with your colleagues. The tasks vary based on the needs of the care recipients, so it is important that you can adjust how you work when things change.
