Your role with us

As a payroll specialist, you will be the heart of our payroll process – ensuring that everything runs smoothly, accurately, and in accordance with laws, agreements, and internal guidelines. Your tasks will include:

• Ongoing payroll processing, payroll handling, and quality assurance of payments

• Maintaining and developing our personnel and time reporting systems

• Handling administration related to contracts, bonuses, vacations, and year-end processes

• Supporting managers and employees with questions about salary, pensions, and benefits

• Interpreting and applying current laws and collective agreements

• Producing statistics, reports, and materials for payroll mapping

• Responsible for benefit cars and salary exchange

In short – you will be a trusted expert and a valued partner for both managers and employees.

Your background

We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in qualified payroll work and who feels confident in the craft. You have:

• Deep knowledge of laws, agreements, and regulations regarding salary, pensions, and benefits

• Experience with personnel administrative systems, time reporting systems, and Excel

• Excellent service orientation and the ability to communicate clearly

• The ability to work independently and drive processes forward

• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

Experience with salary exchange, benefit cars, pensions, and insurance is a plus.

Practical information

The position is a permanent full-time employment at Sylvamo in Nymölla. The position may start with a probationary period.
