We are now looking for a committed and stable support assistant for our LSS operations in Torvalla who wants to help strengthen our citizens' participation and quality of life. With us, you can use your creativity to plan activities, contribute to an active daily life, and work professionally with behaviors that require extra care and close support. If you are confident in yourself, patient, and want to make a real difference, you might be the one we are looking for.
Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, sleeping shifts, and weekends. You will work according to a laundry room schedule with the opportunity to influence your schedule based on applicable guidelines. Start date is according to agreement.

The work may involve difficult and challenging situations, and therefore we use a low-arousal approach as a central method. You need to have personal maturity and be confident in yourself, especially when meeting citizens who may express themselves in ways that require an extra calm and empathetic response.
The work includes close personal care such as support with personal hygiene, showering, and toilet visits. You will also use medical aids such as the Pari Boy and feeding tube in your work, and there may also be double staffing during transfers. Since there is also a risk of falls, elements of psychiatry, diabetes, and delegated tasks, we have regular contact with district nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. In your work, you will also have close collaboration with support educators and operational support to develop the support and interventions for our citizens.
In everything you do, you work to strengthen participation and create as meaningful a life as possible based on each individual's conditions.
