About the position

At Olivia, we are looking for 3 personal assistants who want to work part-time with our male client living in Nödinge (Gothenburg).

To be considered for this position, you need to have a driver's license and access to your own car to drive the client to activities.

Furthermore, the client is only seeking female assistants.

Working hours are varied during weekdays and weekends:

  • 3:45 PM - 8:15 AM (3 hours waiting time)

  • 8:15 AM - 8:15 AM weekends (3 hours waiting time)

  • 1:45 PM - 8:15 AM Friday (3 hours waiting time)

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you start training immediately.

About the client

The client is a man in his 45s with an interest in dining out and having coffee. He needs your help as an assistant in his daily life as he has autism, cerebral palsy, and developmental disabilities. He has no verbal communication and communicates with his own signs.

The job responsibilities are as follows:

  • Assist with daily routines such as household chores

  • Assist with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals

  • Motivate and redirect

Are you the one the client is looking for?

We are looking for someone who is attentive, responsible, and calm. You have a sense of intuition and can easily read and redirect situations. You are an empathetic person and can easily put yourself in others' life situations.

Requirements:

  • Driver's license and access to your own car to drive the client to activities

  • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

Merits:

  • Professional experience with the client's disabilities

  • Professional experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare

  • Healthcare education or equivalent

Employment rate: 2 positions at 70%, 2 positions at 50%, 1 substitute as needed

Start date: Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you can present valid ID and submit a personal certificate as well as any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. 

To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
