About us

The Personality Disorder Reception is a specialized clinic focusing on personality disorders. It is a large clinic where we work in interdisciplinary teams consisting of psychologists, nurses, social workers, doctors, and rehabilitation coordinators.

We offer pharmacological treatment, psychosocial and psychological assessment and treatment, and rehabilitation coordinating efforts. A significant part of the psychological and psychosocial treatment interventions is provided in groups based on a stepwise treatment process. Collaboration with other actors plays a central role.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a social worker who wants to be part of a development project regarding changes in working methods where you, as a social worker, will have a central role. You will be placed in one of our base teams and will be responsible for the psychosocial perspective and work as a primary care contact. The job responsibilities will include psychosocial assessment/evaluation from a patient/child perspective, financial counseling, networking, and contacts with external authorities.

The work as a primary care contact includes being the primary contact for patients, ensuring that a care plan is established together with the patient, collaborating with relevant authorities, and coordinating contacts with other care providers. As one of the curators in Psychiatry Affektiva, you will be part of an organization where development work, further education, and supervision are seen as important for a good working environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. A license as a healthcare social worker is an advantage, as well as further education of various kinds. We prefer candidates with experience in psychiatric outpatient care and/or social services, and who have worked with the target group. Experience in coordination and rehabilitation is also an advantage.

You have an interest in collaborating, working integratively and flexibly with patients. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. As a person, it is important that you have a genuine interest in human interactions and that you are goal-oriented and flexible in your work. Good collaboration skills and an interest in working in a team and a desire to contribute to the development of our operations are essential.
