Tibro municipality is now seeking two child caseworkers for the Authority Unit. Here you will contribute your skills and experience in working with children, youth, and their families – in an organization with a strong focus on collaboration and development.

As a child caseworker, you will have overall responsibility for your cases, from investigation to decision and follow-up. You will work closely with children, youth, and their guardians, as well as in collaboration with other important actors such as schools, healthcare, and other authorities.

Main responsibilities:

• Independently manage cases: investigate, assess, and decide, as well as follow up on interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU).
• Hold meetings with children/youth and guardians, as well as collaborate with healthcare, schools, and other authorities.
• Contribute experience and provide support to colleagues.
• Work in the operational system Lifecare.

To thrive in this role, we see that you have:

• A degree in social work.
• Several years of experience in public authority operations concerning children and youth.
• Confidence in making independent decisions based on the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU).
• A valid driver's license, manual transmission.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
