JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a personal assistant in this assignment, you will work at home with a young woman who is entitled to assistance due to intellectual disabilities and mobility difficulties. You will closely collaborate with her parents who also live in the home.

The assistance will be provided outside of school hours, and your main tasks will be to support and assist the individual in her daily life. The work includes everything from personal care, transfers, and communication support to performing delegated health and medical tasks. As a personal assistant, you are the individual's extended arm in everyday life, which is why it is important that you are responsive to her needs.

Leisure activities are a very important part of this individual's daily life, and you will play a crucial role in expanding these activities by being creative and motivating.

The position is full-time starting in March 2026 or according to agreement. You will work evening shifts and be on standby overnight. During school breaks, the schedule may temporarily change.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a caregiving education or other relevant educational background. Experience with individuals with disabilities is a requirement. Familiarity with communication support such as TAKK (sign language support) and visual aids is an advantage.

As a personal assistant, it is important that you are attentive to the individual's specific needs. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is calm and pedagogical, confident in themselves, and can work independently. You should also be a creative and inspiring person, as leisure activities play a significant role in this assignment. A valid driver's license (B) is required, as you may need to drive the individual.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience in assistance cases where you have worked in the home environment of relatives/parents.

Due to the nature of the assignment, we are seeking female employees.
