We are now looking for a support assistant for Enekullegatan's accommodation with special services in Lundby!

Enekullen BmSS is a social psychiatric residence with 12 users who have varying support needs.

The users have both mental disabilities and physical care needs. In your work, the focus will be to support the user individually so that they can have a meaningful everyday life. Responsibilities

At Enekullegatan BmSS, we work on the premise that every user should be involved and given the opportunity to develop towards as independent a life as possible. In your role as a support assistant, you will work with a variety of tasks, from providing educational support in daily life to being involved in community life and leisure activities. Personal care and support at home, such as laundry, cleaning, and cooking, are carried out as much as possible together with the tenants.

You will work motivationally and create conditions for structure, participation, and self-determination based on each person's abilities.

You will be a support in contact with authorities, relatives, home healthcare, daily activities, and other partners. You will also actively work on following up implementation plans and maintaining ongoing documentation, which is done with the tenant's involvement. It is also part of the job to receive delegation according to the Health and Medical Services Act.

You will work according to a schedule during daytime and evening hours as well as weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a degree from the Health and Care program, support assistant training, or the Child and Leisure program with a focus on social or educational work. The educational requirement is also met if you have a post-secondary specialization in the disability area that includes at least 200 YH points, 120 higher education credits, or a combination thereof that corresponds to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education should have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required; you need to have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1. Those who do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1 may be offered to take a language test through the test user Educateit.

It is a requirement for the position that you have experience in documentation.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with psychiatry. You are also an advantage if you have experience in:

• Motivational Interviewing (MI)
• An Independent Life (ESL)
• Low-Arousal Approach (LAB)
• Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
• Work with addiction
