Description

The position is a resource position, which means that placement is conditional based on the needs of all the department's operations.

The placement is based on a core operation where you will continuously be booked/placed at another workplace as needed. This applies to both planned and urgent needs. Working hours vary between day and evening shifts, full days, weekends, and on-call duties. Occasional night shifts may also occur. As a resource staff, you are required to be able to work all types of shifts.

Operations

Håljutegatan GB, Järvstigen SB, Banjovägen GB, and Loftvägens GB are housing with special services for individuals with significant difficulties in managing their daily lives due to mental disabilities and certain comorbidities. The operations are staffed around the clock.

The support includes assistance in the individual's home but can also include social interventions to, for example, break isolation. The interventions aim for the individual to be able to live as independently as possible with the goal of managing their own housing.

The housing support works with individually tailored support that is adapted to the user's needs and can involve support interventions in the individual's home or in the form of more outward social contact. The interventions are carried out together with the user to increase their functional ability, contribute to increased independence, and enable the user to remain in their home.

Hasselbackens activity house and Skogslyckans book café is a workplace where you will map needs and resources for the individual and based on this find individual solutions to achieve the goal of employment. This may involve functioning as support in employment and also collaborating extensively with other authorities and actors to achieve the best results.

We have a strong focus on health and wellness and motivating our users to physical activity. You will meet users both individually and in groups.

Job Responsibilities

Your job responsibilities consist of supporting individuals in their daily lives according to the intentions of social services, which means preserving, changing, and developing people's own resources.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing individually tailored support based on users' needs.
  • Performing interventions of both supportive and compensatory nature.
  • Maintaining social documentation according to applicable legislation.
  • Carrying out interventions on the delegation of nurses and rehabilitation staff.
  • Performing and being responsible for common operational tasks.
  • Working independently.

It is also important that you contribute to a good working climate for colleagues and a good home environment for users.

Qualifications

  • Care and nursing program and the course “care and nursing specialization” within the (social) psychiatry area and one of the following elective courses; social pedagogy, social work 1 or social work 2.
  • or
  • Child and leisure program with a focus on pedagogical and social work and one of the elective courses social work 2, special pedagogy 1, special pedagogy 2, psychology 1 or psychology 2b. Additional requirements include passing grades in Swedish 1 (100 points) and social studies (50 points) at the high school level, based on the care and nursing college requirement level.

  • Other education that the employer finds equivalent.

You also need to have experience working in social psychiatry and hold a valid B driver's license (manual).

Meritorious Qualities

  • Knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, comorbidity, and LSS.
