Your mission as a Construction Worker in Bridge Maintenance:

We are now seeking a construction worker specializing in bridge maintenance for Uddevalla. Our work area extends within Fyrbodal, with some flexibility. 

The position involves maintenance work on and around bridge structures, such as concrete repairs, impregnation, repair of railings and safety devices, as well as review and inspection of facilities around bridges.

The projects vary in size, providing you with great opportunities to be creative in your role and work solution-focused to achieve the end goal. You have the opportunity to work independently and significantly influence your daily work alongside your management. In many of our projects, you will collaborate with various contractors to achieve a good final product together.

Primarily, we work with the Swedish Transport Administration as our client, but we also have external clients. Furthermore, you will be a key person in our daily production alongside your colleagues. The position is full-time, and you will be based at our establishment in Uddevalla. At Svevia, we apply individual salary setting. Start date by agreement.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience in construction work with concrete, repairs, and bridge work at height. You are independent and take the initiative to best provide the customer with good results according to the ordered requirements.

In your professional role, Svevia requires the ability to maintain and create good customer relationships. To succeed in the role, we see it as a requirement that you have:

  • Driver's license B

  • Experience in previous concrete work, construction. We expect you to have at least 5 years of experience in bridge work.

  • Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written

  • Technical knowledge and the ability to come up with your own solutions.

  • In this role, you will work with digital tools and systems, and we are looking for someone who is accustomed to and comfortable with a digital working method.

It is also advantageous if you have:

·       A vocational education in road/construction

  • Driver's licenses BE and C

  • YKB training

  • APV

  • Fall protection training

  • Lift training
