Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability support, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.

Svartes special accommodation is located about ten kilometers west of Ystad, situated in a nature and seaside location. The accommodation has 28 apartments, and we work with individuals living with cognitive diseases, in an environment characterized by safety, respect, and individualized care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a flexible position at Svarte Boende. In this role, you will work on resource shifts and move between different units based on the needs of the organization. You will be where you are needed most, making your work both significant and varied. Since you are not a permanent care contact, you have fewer ancillary tasks and can focus entirely on providing our users with safety, quality, and a good approach in their daily lives.

In this position, you will provide individualized care and support to our residents based on their needs and wishes. Your tasks include, among other things:

• Providing personal care, medical care, and social support
• Observing, documenting, and reporting changes in health status
• Collaborating closely with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other colleagues
• Contributing to a meaningful everyday life for our residents through activities and conversations
• Working according to applicable routines and guidelines within elderly care

QUALIFICATIONS

Svarte Boende is looking for someone who is empathetic and attentive, with a good ability to collaborate and meet people with respect. You find it easy to create safety in your interactions with others and are responsible and flexible in your work approach. We see that you have a genuine commitment and a strong interest in providing high-quality care. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

For the position, you need to have at least 1 year of experience in the healthcare profession.

Meritorious:

• You are a trained nursing assistant and can provide proof of a protected professional title.
• You have good knowledge of working in dementia care.
• Delegation of health and medical care tasks
• Experience in documentation
• A valid driver's license and can commute to work

The position is a temporary contract at 75% until September 2026.
