JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of clinical teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating practice-based education (VFU) for nursing and specialist students. Together with main supervisors and unit managers, you plan and allocate VFU placements each semester, which are then offered to universities. You are also responsible for overarching welcome letters and lead the introductory meeting on the students' first VFU day. In addition, you also participate in the annual national VFU conference. As a clinical teacher, you also serve as a link between the operations and the educational institution, which gives you a good understanding of current issues both in the operations and at the educational institutions, as well as the opportunity to stay updated on the latest research in the field.

You are also responsible for coordinating the operations' work with patient safety. Each unit has a patient safety representative who is convened regionally. The role also involves working broadly and strategically at the operational area level in collaboration with area managers, chief physicians, and the operations manager. You also collaborate with the coordinator for the deviation system and the Green Cross and serve as a channel to the psychiatry administration's patient safety group.
