Here you will work

Segevångsgården is a special accommodation focused on dementia and somatic illnesses and has 72 places, divided into six departments, all on the ground floor. As a nurse, you will be responsible for the care of one department. Segevångsgården has a fantastic park-like garden and all departments have access to it from the day rooms, and each department also has its own outdoor area. One department with 19 residents is for somatically ill individuals, while the other five are for individuals with dementia, totaling 53 residents. At Segevångsgården, we have a stable staff team and engaged management. We work hard to reduce medication use and focus on care interventions. We actively work with the BPSD registry and are undergoing star rating.

Who are you?

You are responsible, independent, and confident in making priorities and leading others. You enjoy mentoring staff in health and medical care issues, are unpretentious, and are motivated to organize care in the best way together with your colleagues.

In your role, you will have continuous dialogue with relatives and inform them of changes in health status. You will collaborate with colleagues, doctors, and possibly other internal and external contacts to ensure good care.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a full-time/part-time colleague for a parental leave substitute with a working degree of “80 - 100 %” starting from February 1, 2026 (earlier is also acceptable) until September 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

  • Licensed nurse

  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing

We would like you to have previous experience in elderly care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. With us, we work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
