Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.
The health and medical care unit consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and HSL-USK. We work with patients aged 18 and older who need health and medical care at the primary care level in their homes, both in special and ordinary housing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone who wants to work closely with people and contribute to safe and quality care!
In this role, you will have a central function in our care team and be involved in creating safe and professional care for our patients.
Your tasks will be varied and include, among other things:
- Wound care, where you carefully and thoughtfully follow given routines and guidelines.
- Sample collection and handling of samples according to instructions.
- Medication administration, for example: pillbox preparation, subcutaneous injections.
- Catheter care in accordance with established work routines.
The work will initially take place under the guidance of a supervisor, but you will then work independently in close dialogue with the team. As an important part of our operations, you contribute your expertise and commitment to ensure that our patients receive care of the highest quality.
The position also includes documentation according to applicable guidelines, where you clearly and accurately record relevant care tasks.
Working hours are scheduled during the day with shifts every fourth weekend.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant with a protected professional title and has at least two years of experience as a care assistant. You have good knowledge of basic care and are confident in your professional role. Experience in wound care, catheter care, and sample collection, as well as familiarity with working according to applicable guidelines and hygiene routines, is an advantage.
If you have experience with the tasks included in the position, we see it as an advantage, but the most important thing is that you have the right commitment and willingness to develop together with us.

You are flexible, solution-oriented, and enjoy an environment where tasks can vary from day to day. We are looking for a person who is unpretentious, engaged in their profession, and wants to contribute to maintaining and developing our high quality of care.
You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license. We place great emphasis on personal suitability in the recruitment process.
