About the workplace

The Building and Environmental Administration, with 19 employees, operates within building permits, environmental and health protection, and housing adaptation.

The Environmental Department is a supervisory authority within the municipality's Building and Environmental Administration. The department operates under food legislation, alcohol legislation, and permits and supervision matters under the Environmental Code. The main areas of work include food control, alcohol supervision, environmental protection, health protection, and individual sewage systems. Our team consists of ten environmental and health protection inspectors, an administrator, and an environmental manager.

Your tasks

We are now looking for a new employee for a permanent position who will work with matters related to food legislation, alcohol legislation, tobacco legislation, and supervision of over-the-counter medications. We are looking for someone with experience in at least one of these areas.

The distribution of tasks can be tailored based on the experience and knowledge of the applicant. The work will involve both registration and filing of documents, inspection of operations, as well as drafting letters and decisions. The position is outward-facing and involves a lot of contact with businesses and the public in Håbo municipality, as well as contact with employees in other units and administrations within the municipality.

We work in the case management system Ecos2 and actively strive to develop the use of the system. In this work, all employees play a central role in developing digital and more efficient working methods, and we therefore prefer that you are a driven and structured person who is willing to try new ways of working.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in a natural science field or law or similar, or alternatively, work experience that can be assessed as equivalent. You should have knowledge in at least one of the relevant areas and be able to work independently with new tasks. Experience in supervisory work, experience with legally demanding tasks, and having worked in Ecos 2 are meritorious.

A driver's license (B) is a requirement.
