Academic Resource is now looking for a Laboratory Engineer R&D (Senior Level) for a Life Science company in Uppsala.

The position is an initial consulting assignment with a good opportunity for extension.

Immediate start. Placement in Uppsala.

Role Description/Responsibilities:

This role is placed in the scrum team System & Application.

• Plan, execute, and report on activities in a larger system project, such as lab experiments with reagents/model systems that evaluate application/methodology or software.

• Active participation in discussions and planning. • Follow existing processes and routines.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree with a background in molecular biotechnology and analysis.

• Practical experience with Biacore and general analytical knowledge.

• At least 5 years of work experience in practical laboratory work.

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Experience working in R & D projects related to system development.

• Experience in software design and interest in it.

Personal Attributes:

• Understanding of system development, primarily application and software aspects.

• Used to working with others but can also plan, execute, and report on various activities independently.

• Strong sense of responsibility for activities and understanding of the whole.

• Communicative and flexible.
