About the position

As a salesperson at Invacare, you will be an important representative and trusted advisor to our existing and new customers. You will be part of Invacare Sweden, which today consists of 42 employees in several different functions and areas of responsibility. The position is within the northern region, which includes Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Jämtland, and Västernorrland.

You will have a varied and rewarding job where you meet customers both physically on-site, over the phone, and in digital video meetings. On Fridays, you may set aside time to plan and book next week's meetings in Skellefteå. Yesterday, you identified a need at your customer's location and immediately saw how one of our products could contribute to increased independence for someone. We could continue with examples indefinitely, but if we were to send you away with two words to remember, they would probably be great variation and quality of life.

The position involves travel about 2-3 days a week with the possibility of significant self-planning and flexibility. We see Umeå as a suitable starting point for the position, but we also see that other locations in the North could work.

Main responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop long-term customer relationships.

  • Educate about, sell, and advise on our entire product portfolio, which includes everything from manual wheelchairs and walking aids to beds and lifts.

  • Plan and conduct customer meetings, as well as participate in fairs and training.

  • Perform simple warranty repairs, participate in trials, make adjustments, and assist with simple troubleshooting. 

We are looking for someone who:

Enjoys building long-term relationships with people and has experience in aids in some form. Perhaps you have worked in a similar role or are currently a licensed occupational therapist/physiotherapist and became interested in trying something new?

To succeed and thrive in the role of salesperson at Invacare, we believe that you have a good structure and planning in everything you do, you want to work with advisory and relationship-building sales, and you are a collaborative, humble, and curious person.
