Department 60 at Falu Hospital is a general psychiatric inpatient unit with 14 beds. We have a close and tight collaboration with the ECT unit, where treatments with electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) are performed. The department also applies user-controlled admission and cares for patients with varying psychiatric diagnoses, according to different care forms and individually adapted care times. Thanks to our collaboration with somatic care, we receive patients with complex comorbidities - where psychiatric conditions are often combined with somatic care needs. This makes our work environment both varied, educational, and meaningful.

Requirements:

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse.

Meritorious:

Since we care for patients with both psychiatric and somatic needs, we would like you to have good knowledge in somatic care - experience in psychiatric care is an advantage.

Personal qualities:

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, has a good attitude, and enjoys working in a team. You have a genuine interest in people and want to contribute to safe and quality care.

To ensure a safe care environment for both patients and staff, a drug test and a check in the suspicion and criminal records will be conducted before employment.

This position requires you to have a valid license for the relevant profession. Your professional license will be checked against the National Board of Health and Welfare's register of licensed health and medical care personnel (HOSP) before any job offer.
