About the job

The role of automation engineer at LUE Engineering is a broad role where you will be involved from start to finish. You will work on developing and adapting solutions according to customer needs and wishes. This means you will meet clients and work in a service-oriented manner, but you will also work together with colleagues and independently at LUE Engineering. Main tasks include:

• PLC programming.
• Robot programming.
• Testing.
• Troubleshooting.
• Technical problem-solving together with colleagues and/or directly with clients.
• Travel may occur, but is not common.
• Supervising interns.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and solid experience. In addition to your technical interest, we hope you enjoy working in a problem-solving manner and that you are responsible, meticulous, positive, and have good collaboration skills. You will primarily work on-site at LUE Engineering, but you will also work directly at the client's location. This means you should appreciate working independently as well as socially and service-oriented.

Your qualifications:

• University degree as an automation engineer or other equivalent relevant education.
• At least 5 years of experience in the role of automation engineer, experience in developing software for machines is a plus.
• Proficient in PLC programming, knowledge of robot programming is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of English and Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• A valid driver's license (B) and access to a car are required.
• Possesses a genuine interest in technology and is motivated to work practically.
