About the role

As a project manager, you will be responsible for multiple parallel projects simultaneously and lead them from start to finish. You will ensure that the right conditions are in place at every stage – from handover, planning, and production to FAT, quality assurance, and final delivery.

You will, among other things:

• Take over projects from the sales organization and drive them through the entire project lifecycle according to Algeco's project model.
• Review customer orders and contracts, register projects in internal systems, and ensure necessary internal approvals before execution.
• Plan scope, timelines, risks, and deliveries, and hold internal and external kick-offs.
• Be the hub between the office and the workshop, as well as between customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and certification bodies.
• Coordinate engineers, quality, and production – without needing to be a specialist in each area.
• Follow up on status, risks, costs, and timelines – often with the support of Excel, business systems, and project plans – and produce clear status reports internally and for customers.
• Ensure drawing flows, technical approvals, and quality points together with the Engineering Manager and Workshop Supervisor, including planning and follow-up of tests (e.g., FAT).
• Support purchasing by following up on BOM/purchase documentation, suppliers, and deliveries – including logistics, packaging/labeling, and any customs/export documentation for both Swedish and international deliveries.
• Work according to established processes and routines for document control, HSE, and communication (e.g., email, Teams, SharePoint) – with order on versions, archiving, traceability, and documented meetings.

Who we are looking for

You are a stable, structured, and communicative project manager with the ability to keep multiple phases together and drive projects forward in a safe and present manner. Furthermore, we believe you have:

• Experience in managing multiple parallel projects within industry, construction, or technically complex environments.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering and quality, preferably in projects with technical approvals or certification requirements.
• Experience working with production/workshop, preferably including quality work and tests such as FAT.
• Experience in project cost control via business/accounting systems (e.g., Navision or equivalent) and Excel.
• Basic experience in planning with MS Project.

To succeed in the role, we believe you are calm, structured, and secure even when many things are happening simultaneously. You are communicative and enjoy having many points of contact – from the workshop to the customer. Furthermore, you are driven by taking responsibility, appreciate order and clarity, and have a good ability to create progress while being present in both the office and the workshop.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary technical education (university or engineering degree in e.g., mechanical engineering) or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of project management experience.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Basic knowledge of MS Project.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
