The operation is located in Kvicksund and is aimed at the LSS target group 1.
About the Role of Support AssistantAs a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will assist users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the operation.
Qualifications
Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
Experience in healthcare and social care.
High school education such as child and leisure program, healthcare and social care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
It is an advantage if you also have
Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
Experience working with complex support needs.
Employment Conditions
Employment Type: Probationary employment that transitions to permanent employment if both parties are satisfied. Working Hours: approx. 98% Work Schedule: Day, evening, and weekend. Start Date: By agreement, we look positively on if you can start shortly. Collective Agreement: We are bound by the collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
