Capio Vårdcentral Mälarporten is part of Capio Närsjukvård and provides primary care on behalf of Region Västmanland. The health center is modern, newly built, and located in Västerås. Today, over 14,000 people are registered with us.

Everything is under one roof: We are a family center with psychologists, social workers, medical and nursing reception, physiotherapy, child health care, and midwifery. For us, it is important to have a flexible and close collaboration between all professional groups, as well as high accessibility to psychologists, to best help our patients.

In combination with traditional reception activities, we also have our chat and the possibility for video meetings with patients. A large part of communication with patients also occurs via chat. We also offer iKBT as part of our treatment offerings.

Your main tasks include assessment, diagnosis, and psychological treatment interventions, both short and long-term as needed, for adults with mild to moderate mental health issues. The work also includes psychoeducation and counseling as well as basic assessments for potential referrals to specialized care. The position is designed in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations for PTP, which means that at least 25% of the working hours are allocated for other work. Supervision is provided by an external supervisor with many years of experience in PTP supervision. You also participate in group supervision once a month and have continuous experience exchange with colleagues at the health center. As part of Capio, you also take part in regular meetings for Capio Region Mitt's psychosocial resources. You will also benefit from Region Västmanland's PTP program.

• That you have a good theoretical foundation and are a newly graduated psychologist with a completed psychology degree.
• That you are interested in working with various treatment methods and have a desire to learn and develop in psychology.
• That you are empathetic, attentive, and have a good ability to build relationships.
• That you are flexible and can adapt your working methods based on the patient's individual needs.
• That you are responsible and can work independently as well as in a team.
• That you have an interest in improvement work and digitalization.
