Job Responsibilities

We offer you a meaningful job in a varied and stimulating work environment. Our mission includes providing early care for people with mild to moderate mental health issues. At the conversation clinic, you will work with assessment interviews, treatment, and some investigations with individuals aged 18 and older. You will conduct therapeutic and psychological treatments both individually and via internet CBT and digital healthcare meetings. The focus is on short-term therapy, for example in areas such as anxiety, depression, stress-related illnesses, severe crises, and pain problems.

You will work both independently and in a team, collaborating with other healthcare providers. Development work is an important part of daily work to adapt care for the future, and interest in participating in various projects within the organization is welcomed.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-run health centers in Västmanland and the health centers' emergency clinics are operated as an intrapreneurship with a board and Region Västmanland as the owner. We have a common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide our patients with the best primary care in the region. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the future's primary care needs.

Närvården City is one of 11 health centers with over 15,000 registered patients. We offer work at a large and state-of-the-art health center centrally located in Västerås, within walking distance to the Travel Center. There is also a branch clinic in Skultuna. Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is interested in working with early psychological interventions to prevent and reduce mental health issues in the population. You who apply should be a licensed psychotherapist with a focus on CBT or a licensed psychologist, preferably with experience from primary care. Experience with group treatments, Mindfulness, internet therapy, and ACT is an advantage. You must master the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and preferably have experience with the Cosmic journal system that we use in our daily work.

As a person, you are engaged, interested, and innovative. You enjoy collaborating with others but also feel comfortable in independent work where you take your own initiatives. Caring and reliability are qualities you should possess. We place great importance on collaboration skills, flexibility, and responsibility. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.
