Operational Purchaser – Pakistani Grocery Store

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Operational Purchaser to join our Pakistani grocery store. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in international procurement, quality control, and inventory management, playing a key role in ensuring the highest quality of our products. This position involves close collaboration with suppliers, particularly in Pakistan, and active contribution to the store’s operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of goods from international suppliers, with a focus on Pakistan
• Conduct thorough quality control of all incoming products to ensure compliance with store standards
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits
• Identify and manage product loss, damage, or discrepancies
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure favorable terms, timely deliveries, and consistent product quality
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize stock levels and purchasing processes
• Provide regular reports on procurement activities, inventory status, and quality issues

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant education in purchasing, logistics, supply chain, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in purchasing, inventory management, or quality control
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in international trade, particularly with suppliers in Pakistan, is highly desirable
