Communicator at El-Kretsen

At El-Kretsen, Sweden's collection system for electrical waste and batteries is run, an important part of sustainability efforts. We are now looking for a recent graduate communicator who wants to help shape their message and enhance their digital presence. Here you will have the opportunity to contribute new ideas in an engaged team.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a communicator, you will play a key role in strengthening the organization’s message and increasing its visibility. You will work broadly with content creation, from in-depth articles to engaging posts on social media, primarily via LinkedIn, and actively contribute to informing about El-Kretsen's important work.

The role suits you who want to combine academic writing with practical communication and who thrives in an environment where you can take significant responsibility. You will work closely with two colleagues responsible for the website, graphic material, and information center, while also independently driving your own projects forward. You will receive support and editorial guidance to find the right tone, but are also expected to contribute your own ideas and creative approaches that develop El-Kretsen's communication. For this role, we are looking for someone with an interest and commitment to sustainability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The role involves producing quality content for their digital channels, driving presence on social media, and contributing to investigative journalism. You will be central in communicating El-Kretsen's mission and values to a broad audience.

• Writing articles and texts for El-Kretsen's website, primarily for the Knowledge Room (kunskapsrummet.com)
• Developing and implementing strategies for social media, especially LinkedIn
• Conducting research and writing articles in a more academic format
• Actively contributing new ideas for El-Kretsen's communication
• Responsible for sending newsletters to customers and partners
• Collaborating with colleagues in the organization to gather facts, participate in study visits, and understand the operations

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Relevant university education in communication, journalism, or environmental science with a communication focus
• Advanced knowledge in text production and language care
• Good knowledge and interest in social media, especially LinkedIn
• Fluent in Swedish

It is meritorious if you have experience working with film or series production for digital channels.
