About the Position

We are looking for a Procurement Officer for an authority in Stockholm! The assignment involves staffing the procurement function at the authority. The function currently consists of four people, one lawyer and three procurement officers.

The function is responsible for conducting, coordinating, and quality assuring procurements and orders, as well as handling other contract and purchasing issues.

YOU should be able to conduct direct procurements, procurements, and orders of various types and complexities. The work may also involve collecting and processing purchasing statistics and communicating this within the authority.

The position includes the following tasks:

The procurement consultant independently conducts and project manages procurements and drives them forward in collaboration with the authority's clients. The nature, scope, and complexity of the procurements vary, as do the clients' experience and competence in the procurement area.

You should have the ability to handle and analyze purchasing statistics.

You should register documents in accordance with applicable regulations and the authority's procedures. Therefore, you should have knowledge of confidentiality regulations related to procurement, including the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL) and relevant parts of procurement legislation.

Assignment Period and Scope:

The position as a Procurement Officer is a part-time consultancy assignment, approximately 25 hours per week, starting from 2026-02-01 and is expected to last until 2026-06-30, with the possibility of extension for an additional 3 months.

Please note that the assignment can only begin once a security protection agreement has been signed and the consultant has been background checked.

You should primarily work on-site at the authority's premises. Remote work is allowed by agreement and in dialogue with the client. The working method should be flexible and continuously adapted based on the client's needs and wishes.

We are looking for someone who is studying, is retired, or has another main occupation.

Requirements for the Position:

  • Higher education in law, economics, or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of work experience from similar work. Alternatively, vocational training as a procurement officer/purchaser or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of work experience from similar work.
  • Good knowledge of LOU/LUF.
  • Experience working with procurement tools such as Mercell TendSign.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

About You

You should be pedagogical and attentive to the needs and wishes of the organization. You should have insight into what the role of a procurement officer entails and find it easy to contact people, be service-oriented, and communicate clearly.

You should be able to work in a structured manner, handle multiple parallel assignments, and deliver within agreed timeframes.

Security Classified Assignment

Please note that this assignment is security classified, as the authority conducts security-sensitive operations. A security review, including a background check, will therefore be conducted on the final candidate. The candidate will also undergo a security review.
